Julianne Sabia
Painting and cooking have been passions of mine since I can remember. My connection to yoga started around age 10 when my older sister, Kristi, shared the practice and brought me to classes. In my mid twenties, I worked as a corporate sales manager and struggled with substance use disorder and depression. It was during this chapter of my life when I started making changes to redirect my life in a more healthy and sustainable way.
In 2020 I completed a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher training with Sara Syed, and I’ve had the opportunity to teach hundreds of classes since. In 2024 I completed a trauma informed yoga training with Taryn Strong of the She Recovers Foundation.
Today I’m actively in recovery, and lean on my yoga and mindfulness practices to cope with life stressors. I now work as a cook in a local cafe and teach yoga. Over the last five years, I’ve also been able to dive back into my passions of painting and baking and I’m grateful to share these creations.

My Heart

My Family
I get to marry my best friend, William, this year. Together, over the last three years, we’ve worked to create a beautiful and secure relationship, focused on family and health. Not pictured are so many other loved ones. I am so grateful.

The Garden
Gardening and spending time in nature have been huge tools for my health and happiness. Learning how to nurture the tiniest seed and watching it grow into something magnificent has been a wonder.

Our Babies
Our little balls of joy. Crouton is the fluffiest, sweetest, and silliest kitty. Korra (our doggie) is so energetic and gives the best cuddles. They get along great (most of the time) and love to be outside with us.
